Novi Sad School of Business is an accredited public state-owned HEI with more than 60 years of tradition. It was founded in 1959 and since then it is the only State formed Business School in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

The aim of our institution is to educate students with knowledge and skills that can meet the needs of the economy and society at all. In our curricula there is the balance between two concepts:  education “about business” and education “for business”. We have established large network with the companies as partners who contribute to the development of relevant and contemporary study programmes via suggestions, instructions and other various activities. In that way our curricula and teaching methods allow students to study the role of business in society and in same time provide them with vocational aspects of business. The outcome of such study concept and its programmes is the easily employable graduates which are capable to keep up with the constant technological, economic and social changes.

The NSSB is attended by over 1400 students. The NSSB offers Undergraduate and Master studies in the fields of Finance and Banking; Trade and International Business; Tourism and Hospitality; Applied Computer Science; and International Business and Finance.

NICE Network Annual Meeting 2018 Northumbria

The New Initiatives and Challenges in Europe (NICE) Network is an inter-university network consists of over 30  partner institutions from 21 countries in the Enlarged Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia. Northumbria University is the only UK member and signed the network’s Quality Charter in 2008.

The idea to create this network was born in 1992 when 12 Higher Education Institutions from 5 EU member states assembled at IPAG in Nice, France, to apply for ERASMUS funding. When the EU changed their policy in support of bilateral links in 1996, the NN group decided to carry on working together and to enlarge the network to further EU member states and partner countries.

The network has grown continually over the past two decades. Its members meet annually to exchange ideas, develop joint projects, conduct multilateral research programmes and forge long-term partnerships for their students.

Principles and Guidelines

The members of the NICE Network are  committed to the Bologna and Lisbon conventions. They share underpinning values and and quality criteria. All participating institutions subscribe to a jointly agreed Quality Charter which ensures that all members accept and implement Erasmus+ as well as ECTS quality standards in their home institutions.

This three-day meeting will include a social activity, a series of plenary and workshop sessions and a formal dinner.

Registration will open in February/March 2018. Accommodation details will be available soon.
